Our researcher Dr. Klara Wolf attended the Ocean Sciences Meeting 2026 in Glasgow

During the last week of February 2026, our researcher Klara Wolf attended the Ocean Sciences Meeting in Glasgow – a vibrant conference with around 6000 participants from all over the world. Klara presented some of our first eDNA results and sediment germination experiments within the session “Responses of Arctic Planktonic Communities to Climate Change and the Impacts on Ecosystem Function”.

At the conference Klara also met with our colleagues from YESSS’s BMFTR sister project GreenHAB, which is investigating harmful algal blooms in Greenland and is part of the same funding scheme by BMFTR. There was a lively exchange on the changing Arctic ecosystem between the teams. In the first photo Klara is together with her GreenHAB colleagues and session convenors:
Samuel Barton, Cora Hörstmann, and Domiziana Christini.
