UK-based climate science initiative interviews our PhD student Max Willems

In May 2025, UK-based website Carbon Brief visited Ny-Ålesund. Their site specializes in climate science, climate policy and energy policy, and following their visit, the team of journalists presented a written piece interviewing polar researchers working in the quickly-warming Arctic. The article featured an interview with our PhD student Max Willems, talking about her research, her daily life on the archipelago, and how being on Svalbard changed her perspective on life.
